Alaska fishing charter

The Cedars Lodge in Ketchikan is a great place to base your vacation taking an Alaska fishing charter adventure to land salmon, halibut and other species of fish

What better place is there to enjoy an Alaska fishing charter than during a visit to the “Salmon Capital of the World” – Ketchikan? The ideal place to charter a boat and stay the night is The Cedars Lodge. The fishing boats we charter for our saltwater fishing excursions can comfortably fit four to six anglers and include the latest state-of-the-art electronics. All of our saltwater fishing packages include bait and tackle. Our charter boat captains do their utmost to help you land a nice catch – whether it is salmon, halibut, red snapper, cod or sea bass, all of which are abundant in our plankton-filled waters.

When you stay at The Cedars Lodge, you will be mere steps away from the dock where all of our Alaska fishing charter excursions depart.

We offer three different lodging options – economy, standard, and deluxe. Our economy rooms, ideal for those that want to spend their money on local attractions and souvenirs, include views of the mountains, two beds and cable TV. In addition to being the ideal place for a vacation, The Cedars Lodge is also an ideal location for business groups or even family reunions.

Besides enjoying a fishing charter during your Ketchikan, Alaska vacation based at The Cedars Lodge, be sure to take the opportunity to explore the community, which is home to miles of hiking trails, art galleries and a variety of historic sites, including Dolly’s House Museum, the Totem Heritage Center, the Tongass Historical Museum, and Totem Bight State Historical Park. Another site you will not want to miss is Misty Fjords National Monument, known as “The Grand Canyon of Alaska.”

Only accessible by floatplane or boat, Misty Fjords is an exquisite wilderness that includes granite cliffs, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls and a myriad of wildlife. While staying at The Cedars Lodge, the scenery will continue to amaze you!
