Grant
Island, secluded in the sheltered panhandle region of Alaska,
is home to the Silverking Lodge. Surrounded by pristine wilderness
rising from deep blue waters, the lodge is only accessible by
boat or float plane.

knowledgeable staff.
Accommodations
Silverking Lodge combines all the comforts of
home with the luxury of a professional, friendly staff. Kirk
and the crew will greet you as you arrive and will attend to
all your needs during your stay.
Delicious, home-cooked meals of seafood, beef, chicken, pork
and pasta are served buffet style in our dining room.

Delectable
salmon, crab, halibut, shrimp, and other varieties of seafood
are caught the same day and prepared fresh by Lynn, our extraordinary
cook. And, just wait until you try her fresh baked breads and
pastries!

Upon
returning to the lodge after a full day of fishing, our experienced
staff will be on hand to fillet, vacuum pack, and freeze your
catch for the flight home.
Dry,
clean, heated cabins with hot showers and all the necessary linen
and bedding are provided. Laundry facilities are available too.

If
you want to get back to civilization, you can take in an afternoon
of shopping and sightseeing just 20 miles away in the heart of
Ketchikan.

Each
group of two fishermen is provided a fully equipped, 14 foot Livingston
boat with a 15hp outboard motor. The lodge's standardized rigging
is a six foot, six inch combination rod with a Penn 209 level
wind reel. Guests who are experienced fishermen and would prefer
to use lighter tackle may wish to bring their own gear.
