"They have good equipment, their boats are good and they know how to catch fish."

Grant Island, secluded in the sheltered panhandle region of Alaska, is home to the Silverking Lodge. Surrounded by pristine wilderness rising from deep blue waters, the lodge is only accessible by boat or float plane.
Experience the freedom to navigate your craft within our protected waters wherever and whenever you wish. Create your own fishing adventures with just the right amount of direction from our knowledgeable staff.

Accommodations
Silverking Lodge combines all the comforts of home with the luxury of a professional, friendly staff. Kirk and the crew will greet you as you arrive and will attend to all your needs during your stay.

Delicious, home-cooked meals of seafood, beef, chicken, pork and pasta are served buffet style in our dining room.

Delectable salmon, crab, halibut, shrimp, and other varieties of seafood are caught the same day and prepared fresh by Lynn, our extraordinary cook. And, just wait until you try her fresh baked breads and pastries!

Upon returning to the lodge after a full day of fishing, our experienced staff will be on hand to fillet, vacuum pack, and freeze your catch for the flight home.

Dry, clean, heated cabins with hot showers and all the necessary linen and bedding are provided. Laundry facilities are available too.

If you want to get back to civilization, you can take in an afternoon of shopping and sightseeing just 20 miles away in the heart of Ketchikan.

Each group of two fishermen is provided a fully equipped, 14 foot Livingston boat with a 15hp outboard motor. The lodge's standardized rigging is a six foot, six inch combination rod with a Penn 209 level wind reel. Guests who are experienced fishermen and would prefer to use lighter tackle may wish to bring their own gear.
